Overview

The Victories Hotel is not very close to the city center, but it is one of Harbin's attempts at a five star hotel. Located in the new economic development (industrial) zone outside of town, the Victories Hotel caters to luxury business clients. The place is massive (almost 700 rooms) and has all the massage and karaoke options of a big business hotel. Breakfast is spendy, but cabs are reasonable in Harbin, so you can always hop in one and head to town.

I stayed there twice. I think it even does not match 4-star standards. Pros: breakfast, elevator,. Cons: room setting, TV program, customer service.

I checked in on Aug 29. The receptionist was soooo rude! I dont wanna go details but I really doubt how could a hotel became 5-star with such customer services.... Well, in terms of hardware, inner settings of different standard rooms vary a lot. Dunno whys that.

Honestly I dont like it. The hotel enviornment was NOT beautiful, the view out of the window was NOT spectacular, food was NOT wonderful, & the staff was NOT warm-hearted. There is NO food or drink in the fridge in guestroom.
