The Somerset Emerald City (Shengjie Lvbao Guangchang Fuwu Gongyu), together with many Fortune 500 companies, is located at the heart of Suzhou High-tech Industrial Park and on top of Emerald City Shopping Mall. The hotel is also close to the Hanshan Temple, Tiger Hill and the Suzhou Amusement Park.

My wife and I had a very nice and romantic weekend here.It is very conveniently located, only about 10-min walk from Suzhou Paradise. A large shopping center and many restaurants are close by.

Facilities are new and simple cookware is available.

The bathroom has a problem. Water will run over the floor after bathing. Bedding was clean and tidy, very comfotable.

As a whole, we're very satisfied with the room, it's totally sound-proof and we never heard any noise from next door during our 2-night stay. The weekend price is also competitive.

I like this hotel very much. It has a perfect location. A park is right opposite the hotel and Suzhou Paradise is not far to the south.

Shopping and dining are especially easy and handy here. A bustling shopping center is right downstairs. KFC, Pizza Hut, Chamate and many other Chinese restaurants are in the vicinity. A supermarket is also within walking distances, very convenient. But most of the stores and restaurants won't open until 10am, too late for me.

Room facilities are quite new. The only complaint I had is about the bathroom decoration, not so satisfying. The service is indeed great in every aspect. One important thing to mention is that the price is really reasonable. I highly recommend it for both business and leisure travellers.
