Trinkets and souvenirs are pretty much it for shopping on Putuo Shan. There are some interesting and quite unique Buddhist lucky charms and necklaces to be had, but  many vendors stock the same basic kitsch and your're likely to quickly succumb to the "seen one shop, seen 'em all" syndrome if you spend more than twenty minutes or so looking through their offerings.
