After I booked this hotel, I had some pretty low expectations knowing that in China sometimes you get exactly what you pay for, and often even that ratio is a stretch. What a surprise, however I found as my room was absolutely clean and perfect for the rigors of a business trip. I had stayed at the intercontinental hotel a few weeks before in Beijing for literally 5 times the price of the Guangming, and the room was almost exactly the same. See? Chinese hotels can be awesome!

The lobby was clean and marbled-out, the service was excellent, but the rooms were the real bonus and this hotel is certainly one I'll go back to for all of my business trips in the future, or any trip for that matter. It is right down the street from the new US super-embassy complex so this is a must-stay if you are still looking to be part of a tired, huddled mass yearning to be free.

Booking with Ctrip gave me some sort of special on free internet in my room which was another little bonus of this place. The only annoying thing was the breakfast, which though edible was certainly not anywhere close to the intercontinental. But then again, with the money I saved I made sure to treat myself to a nice brunch at a nice brunch spot in the embassy district.

A good hotel all around, and its a great location, check it out and thank me later!

A very new hotel, facilities are great. Convenient location makes it attractive. As it's new, there's lots of special promotions such as free broadband internet access. Room rate also reasonable, worth recommending.

However, the bathtub design is problematic. If you take a shower, the whole floor will be wet afterwards. No hair drier, but you can borrow one.

Breakfast tastes good but there are few choices.

Newly decorated, everything is new. I like the design very much. Will choose this place again.
